I am sick of having bits and pieces everywhere, they may be in locations with related content at the moment but keeping several blogs updated and publishing to multiple sites is very time consuming. Then you have to publish web pages to hold the main article as well. Eventually you end up with more web servers, domains, sub domains and applications running than any single person could comprehend.

The time has come to rationalise what I have created ot only for my own sanity but also so visitors can find what they are looking for. My personal home page has become very popular and I am constantly developing several other websites. At one stage I was publishing content to 6 different weblogs.

This blogging frenzy initially started with testing every package available in Fantastico on a cpanel server before using blogger and several other blogging platforms. At the end of the day I found they are all good at what they do but they all do the same things but in a different way so ultimately the end use is the main consideration in making a choice for 1 blog.

I chose Word Press not only because it is simple to install, maintain and modify it categorises articles and allows tags to be added making it easy to find articles by keywords. The ideal solution for a site like this that covers many topics.  I have a lot of work ahead to move old content over and so much new stuff to publish I dont know where to start.

Initially I hope to publish 2 new articles and copy 2-3 0ld articles every week so keep coming back to see how it goes. The first new topic is my 1988 Pathfinder, out with the old Z24 and in with a VG30E V6 with manual transmission. Everything going to plan I will be crossing Australia East-West in the revamped vehicle later this year.
